Solid Roofs North Wales

What is a Solid Roof or Warm Roof Conservatory?

In a nutshell, a Solid Roof or Warm Roof conservatory roof is a fully insulated (min 125mm) roof that is plastered on the inside and either a tile or slate finish to the outside.

Solid roofs can be done as part of a completely new build conservatory or as a replacement roof system to an older existing conservatory.

Is Your Conservatory Too hot or Too cold?

This lightweight Warm Roof system has been on the market for several years now and was first developed with the replacement roof market in mind.

Many homeowners that had conservatories built in less energy efficient times often complain about the room not being in use all year round due to it being either too hot or too cold at certain times of the year.

When you chose a Warm roof option from AA Conservatories you can be sure of getting the market-leading brand of Guardian Warm Roof as your new roof.

Backed with LABC approval and installed by our approved Team Guardian
fitters you can be sure that you are getting the best Warm Roof in North Wales

Depending on the age of the existing conservatory you may be able to simply keep your existing frames and just replace the roof. In some instances, where the conservatory is particularly older, then the energy efficiency and structural capability of the old frames may be brought in to question and it may be advised to replace the frames as well.

What About New Conservatories?

Well Just because the roof was made for the replacement (retrofit) market it doesn't mean it can not be used in the new build market too! After all, you only want to do things once so why buy a poly-carbonate roof now and then change it in 5-10 years time?

We would say that 70% of our current new build conservatories are now having these Guardian Roofs installed from day 1!
