Casement Windows North Wales
Made to Measure. Designed to be Efficient..
A popular window design, UPVC casement windows are the most common style of window produced. These attractive windows are suited to a multitude of different applications. All our UPVC windows can be designed to suit your specifications and are extremely practical and adaptable.
Whether you are after a simple small fixed window with no opener, or a large window with several openers, our UPVC casement windows will compliment a property of any size. UPVC Casement windows are most commonly found within houses which were built from the 1960’s
onwards and as replacement windows they are highly sought after. Their single-lever latch will give you easy access and are very easy to open, making them ideal for hard to reach places. Their sash pivot also opens wide, allowing for a quick escape in case of an emergency.
Energy Efficient Windows
Our energy saving windows will retain heat and significantly reduce the amount of energy you use, as well as save you money on heating costs. All our UPVC windows are in accordance with the BFRC (British Fenestration Rating Council) and EnergySaving Trust Guidelines.
UPVC Window Colour Options
UPVC is known to be a highly durable material and one which requires very little upkeep. UPVC windows allow you to say goodbye to the chore of sanding and re-painting window frames.
Also, gone are the days when UPVC windows had to be white. UPVC windows are now available in an extensive range of colours and here at AA Conservatories, we can provide you with a large selection of colour options.
Standard UPVC Window Colour Options:
If you want a ‘grain’ finish to your frames, whether that be a ‘stained/varnished’ finish or a coloured/painted’ finish then there are some ‘off the shelf’ options like Cream Grain or White Grain.
Premium UPVC Window Colour Options:
Cream Grain. This cream grain gives a really warm and rich feel and is a popular choice.
Grey Grain. This grey shade is massively popular of late as it gives a really nice contemporary feel to the window.
Oak Grain. A light stain with a lovely wood look to it. As one of the original foil ‘upgrades’, Oak still holds a firm place in many installations.
Rosewood Grain. Rosewood is a darker stain than Oak and came out to replace the original Mahogany Woodgrain windows that first graced the UPVC market.
UPVC Windows | Glazing Options
When you choose AA Conservatories, you won’t have to settle for
plain glass. Our UPVC windows are available in many different
We can provide you with: Bevels, Lead, Georgian Bar, Stained
Glass and Obscure glass, to name but a few.
We offer many ‘off the shelf’ designs and patterns which can be selected straight from ‘the brochure’ as well as a range of bespoke designs. Whatever your personal preferences, you are sure to find the perfect style from our stylish glazing collection. At AA Conservatories, we cater for every home owner’s needs.
There are many bevel designs available ‘off the shelf’ and such designs can be seen in many installations throughout the UK.
These designs can be simply picked from a page in a brochure and produced for your installation in no time
at all. If you wanted something more specialist bevels can (within reason) be placed into patterns to form
many bespoke designs.
Lead can be placed onto your windows in a variety of patterns, colours and thicknesses.
There are many set designs available form a brochure such as ‘block’, ‘diamond’, ‘Queen Anne’ to name a few
but also bespoke designs can be accommodated. The lead it self will either be Gold, Silver, Black or Aged to
suit your surroundings and the width can be either 3mm, 6mm, 9mm or 12mm.
As a little add on we can even change the spacer bar (the bit of metal in between your glass unit) to match your lead. It is normally silver in colour but if you chose black or gold lead then we can do your spacer bar in black or gold as well.
Georgian Bar is a great addition to windows to give that small window pane effect. It comes in 2 installation
variations with one being the commonly known style of ‘glazed in’ or the less commonly know style of
‘glazed on’. Glazed in has been something our industry has seen for many many years and is exactly as
A white bar placed in between the glass. This bar comes in two widths. 18mm or 25mm. The newer version
of Georgian bar is where the bar is placed over the surface of the glass to give a more traditional feel. This is
a slightly dearer way of applying Georgian bar but once in place it really does look very special. ‘Glazed on’
is sometimes refereed to as ‘Astrical Bar’.
There are many patterns of obscure glass available ranging from floral to plain and from the contemporary to abstract. In addition to the patterns themselves particular attention needs to be made to the obscure ratings.
The ratings are on a scale of 1-5 and the higher the number represents the higher level of obscurity.A point to note however is that the more obscure the glass the less light transmission you will receive.
